The ThermoPlate™ System from Tokai Hit provides a fast, precise, and convenient system to maintain the temperature on the microscope stage of EVOS™ FL and XL imaging systems. The system affords accurate and reliable thermal control of specimens during observation on the microscope stage. A controlled and stable temperature is particularly important for sensitive cell types like oocytes, stem cells, and primary cells and allows extended inspection on the microscope stage without adverse cell viability impact.


The Tokai Hit ThermoPlate System offers you these advantages:

• Thin, optical quality glass allows use with range of objectives and high-quality images
• Sterilizable sensor allows sample temperature measurements
• Compatible with EVOS FL and XL imaging systems

A sterilizable temperature sensor enables continuous temperature recording of both sample and surface temperatures. The temperature recordings are logged and saved in a CSV format that can be exported. Importantly the temperature measurement log can be used for quality control purposes.

The ThermoPlate System consists of a control unit and a strengthened optical-quality heated glass plate that can be maintained at up to 50°C, with a lower, reliable limit 5°C above ambient. A continuous current control method ensures a highly stable temperature control, with an accuracy of +/- 0.1°C. This prevents thermal drift that may reduce image quality over time-dependent observations at higher magnifications. The optical-quality glass causes minimal loss of light and allows the capture of high-quality images in both transmitted light and fluorescence. With a thickness of only 0.5 mm, a range of objectives for the EVOS imaging systems can be used to image samples on the ThermoPlate.

The EVOS stage plate (Cat. No. AMEP4684) was designed to hold the ThermoPlate and is required for its use on EVOS FL or XL imaging systems.
